Selling Open Source Software

In the beginning, my documentation was really bad. Companies would offer me money to help them set up assistant-ui.

I was working on open source software and making money.

I worried that this would go away if I improved the product. Yet, as I made the product better, customer demands rose with it. It seemed like the requests would never stop.

Then it all stopped mid-2025. AI was finally good enough to do the setup.
